Summary
The affected Ebyte
product uses a deprecated hashing algorithm in an authentication-related operation. Under conditions where an attacker can manipulate or predict the authentication exchange, the weak construction may reduce the assurance provided by the authentication mechanism and facilitate unauthorized access.
